Ange Postecoglou is holding his breath on the fitness of Mikey Johnston once again after the player went off injured during the win against Raith Rovers on Sunday.
Mikey got a rare start against the lower league side but it would end similarly to many of his Celtic appearances; limping up the tunnel.
The Celtic manager is now waiting to find out what the prognosis will be. Speaking after the game, boss Ange Postecoglou told Football Scotland:
“Mikey Johnston took a knock on his ankle. I’m not really sure how he is at the moment.”
“The last time I said it wasn’t serious it turned out that it was.”
Mikey isn’t pivotal to Ange’s plans and the game against Raith Rovers was a chance for the winger to show what he could do more than anything. Johnston had an alright game before being subbed off. Jota coming on for Celtic was a game-changer for the team who went from a one-goal lead to a four-goal lead.

Mikey’s body is letting him down when he gets chances in the first team. The wee man will be extremely disheartened and frustrated.
