ANGE Postecoglou’s Spurs are amongst the number of teams south of the border who are interested in Matt O’Riley.
The midfielder has been on top form this season and has seen him attract quite a considerable amount of interest from the English Premier League.
Weast Ham, Brentford and Brighton are said to be keen on the SPFL top scorer, but now TEAMTalk reports that Ange Postecoglou’s Spurs have added their name to that list.
Matt O’Riley seemed to take a subtle dig at Postecoglou when Rodgers came into the club, talking about how he much preferred the new boss’ personal approach.
Celtic had knocked back a £10 million bid for the Danish player in the summer, with Fulham being a bit ambitious. Fabrizio Romano has since said it would take a Scottish transfer record fee for Celtic to sell Matt O’Riley in his current form.
It’s no wonder why, he’s already got six goals to his name and is playing exceptionally well domestically and in Europe.
