CELTIC were in a mess at the beginning of the season. After letting Eddie Howe string the club along since mid-March when Ange Postecoglou got the call, so much time had been burned.
The Australian then had to isolate coming into the country before he could put his foot down on the Lennoxtown pitch and get to work.
It’s been a wild ride to this point, but all things considered – we’re doing very well.
A massive turnover of players who had to hit the ground running was always going to see a variance in performances and results. However, since the beginning of 2022, the Hoops have been relentless.

Europe is still somewhere we need to improve greatly, but in the league, we’re growing in confidence and finding a way to win.
It’s reflected in our table position as we currently sit top, three points ahead of second place.
With 27 games played, we look at how well Celtic are doing compared to last season. We’re 8 points and three goals better off.

It might now seem radical. However, given the turnover, the upheaval and Ange coming in very late in the day, this is an outstanding feat.
The League Cup trophy is already resting back in the Celtic trophy cabinet and in a season where it was all about a rebuild has transformed into a title race.
There are twists and turns along the way, who knows what’s going to happen next, but we’re looking good and well in the conversation. Fantastic work by all.
