Ange Postecoglou Bemoans Transfer Issues

Ange Postecoglou has admitted his frustrations over the wait to complete his transfer dealings.

The Celtic boss has admitted that transfer dealings are not easy to complete at this stage, with the process taking a lot longer to bring the players to the club, seemingly due to current Covid-19 restrictions.

As quoted by the Daily Record, Ange bemoaned these issues but admitted that the club is working hard and urgently, with the desperate need to add players to his squad.

“It’s not just about signing players; it’s how we can get them in.

“It’s a ten-day to two-week process, so that’s the challenging part at the moment; we’re not able to get people in quick enough.

“It’s just the world we live in. If we could get on a plane, go over there and do the signing.

“We’d all be taking photos, and we’d be unveiling him here today. Unfortunately, nothing like that happens anymore.

“We are working on multiple fronts.

“It’s pretty clear we need to bring players in. That’s not an easy process, but we are working hard, hopefully in the next week.”

Of course, in these times, transfer dealings have become even more complicated with the current pandemic.

It has made movement between clubs much harder to deal with and is likely why more players haven’t entered the door for the up-and-coming campaign.

That being said, this isn’t new to us or anyone at the club anymore, and we are currently in desperate need of players to add quality to Ange Postecoglou’s squad.

The former Australian National team boss will certainly be hoping he has more additions to add to that first-team squad in the next few weeks.
