CELTIC STAR Liel Abada has been linked with a move to the Premier League over the last couple of months, but Ange Postecoglou insists that the winger hasn’t shown any signs to suggest that he’s wanting away.
It’s been speculated that Abada has rejected contract proposals from the Hoops, with his former club’s chairman admitting he’s more than likely to get a move to the Premier League soon. However, he does still have three years left on his Parkhead deal, so Celtic could command a hefty price for the young winger.

Ange Postecoglou is adamant that the winger isn’t wanting away at the moment, claiming that Abada is “very happy” at Celtic.
The Hoops gaffer said: [Daily Record]
“Liel’s very happy here. There’s nothing that’s shown me he wants to go anywhere. He just wants to be the best he can be and he’s working hard every day to do that.
“He’s been fantastic since he joined us. Sometimes other people like to speak for others. I prefer to speak to the person themselves and get first-hand information.
“At the moment Liel is really happy here.”
Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis have both left the club this season, but the manager and his recruitment staff have shown that the significant departures don’t affect the team negatively.
A plan will be in place if Abada expresses his desire to embark on a new challenge, but as things stand, that time has not come, according to the manager.
