Ange Delivers Another Brilliant One Liner

ANGE POSTECOGLOU isn’t falling into the trap of calling the league early after it was called in October last season.

After Sunday’s win, with the gift of Saturday’s result in the capital, the Hoops sit two points clear in the Premiership and are on unstoppable form.

After the match, the Celtic manager was asked if he believed that it would be a tough challenge to remove his side from the summit of the table, to which he responded with a great one-liner; [The Sun]

“Well, my belief is we have another game next week that’s worth three points and that’s all we really focus on, because, albeit for me to say it again… it is August.”

There’s still a long way to go. We’re only four games into the league season; to think that there won’t be twists and turns before May is wrong. Celtic are bound to drop points at some point, despite it looking unlikely on the form the team are showing.

Celtic travel to Tannadice next week, with the league game after that the derby. It would be great to win both games, and further extend our lead at the top.
