Celtic are on the hunt for a replacement for Joer Hart between the sticks, with the veteran’s contract set to expire in the summer.

One of the goalkeepers Celtic have been linked to is Andriy Lunin of Real Madrid. Carlo Ancelotti is set to make a final decision on the players’ future in January, with the 24-year-old unhappy with his lack of minutes.
He was once a highly rated youth prospect, but he hasn’t had the breakthrough many were expecting, with his opportunities with Los Blancos limited. He’s had to play second fiddle, even with Courtois injured for the season.
Celtic aren’t alone in their interest though, with many other clubs eying up the Ukrainian. Newcastle are the latest club to record an interest in the ‘keeper. [Defensa Central]
With Nick Pope sidelined, former Celtic managerial candidate, Eddie Howe, is looking to bring in a shot-stopper this January.
Competing with Newcastle is going to be a tough ask for Celtic, but if it’s minutes Lunin is after Newcastle won’t be the long-term answer he’s searching for.
