LEIGH GRIFFITHS has sent a message out to his social media following that he may be ready to take to the field again.

With the Glasgow Derby this Sunday, it’s no coincidence Leigh has quoted his Celtic stats and then declares there is more to come.

Is this a sign the striker is ready to make his mark at Ibrox? It’s unlikely Leigh would start but could he play a part in proceedings later on.

The frontman has been missing since November with personal issues but since Neil Lennon has come into the interim role the countdown to Leigh’s return has been on.

It’s no secret Lennon holds the striker in high regard and if he has sorted his head out he can be a valuable asset in the last three games of this campaign.

Celtic will got to Ibrox as champions but there will be no guard of honour from the unsporting home side.
