‘Amen’ – Celtic Outcast Confirms Imminent Parkhead Return

It was in the winter of January this year it was announced Kundai Benyu would be going on a season long loan to Helsingborgs.

The player brought in from the lower leagues by Brendan Rodgers and Lee Congerton failed to make his way into the first team while Rodgers was in charge.

The player was sent out on his second loan after previously not making the grade at the English lower league club Oldham in the hope he would get first team experience.

Kundai has played all of ten games games for Helsingborgs this season but did have the honour of being managed by Henrik Larsson for a short period of time. With the loan coming to an end – Kundai thanked the fans and alluded to the loan deal not working out in the end.

When a Celtic fan responded to the comment welcoming Benyu back to Celtic and hoping Neil Lennon would use him right, the player replied with ‘Amen’.
