ALISTAIR JOHNSTON is settling into life in Glasgow well, making five more starts after his Ibrox debut.

He’s impressed the fans and looks to be a good replacement for the departed Josip Juranovic in his early Hoops appearances.
He’s been a breath of fresh air off the pitch, too. His press conferences are a joy to watch, and he gives some great insight into the club. He loves to talk and offers some great answers, and isn’t afraid to tell a good story.
He’s been in training since December and has clearly got to know his teammates well. He took part in a quickfire Q&A with SPFL Match Attax cards, when he gave a surprising answer when he was asked who was the most skilful in the squad, claiming Reo Hatate is up there.
In a video on Celtic’s Instagram, the Canadian World Cup star said:
“The most skilful player on our team? I think there’s one that definitely stands out if I can find his card and that beautiful hair of his.
“It’s hard to go against the Portuguese sensation, Jota. Just so technical, so clean with everything that he does.
“But also a little shoutout to Reo (Hatate). He kind of goes a little under the radar with how technical he is. His first touch is just so clean with everything he does. So I think these two (Jota and Hatate) are the most technical.”
He continued: “Who works the hardest in training? Who am I going to go with here? It’s hard to go against the skipper (Callum McGregor), I have to say.
“Cal – this guy works his socks off. The ultimate leader. Comes in every day, trains like a madman every day. So I have to go with Cal, he’s the hardest worker for sure.”
Technically, Reo is one of the best at the club, and he is very skilful. Whenever we think of the most skilful, he isn’t the first that comes to mind. It’s interesting that Alistair was quick to suggest the Japanese player.
