Alistair Johnston’s Hilarious Nat Phillips Send Off Message

Alistair Johnston has posted a hilarious farewell to Nat Phillips after the defender confirmed his Celtic exit on Friday.

Phillips was only at Celtic for a six month loan, but there was no chance the deal was going to be extended due to a lack of game time and form from the Liverpool centre back.

The emergence of Liam Scales put an end to any sort of real run Phillips could have had in the Celtic side.

After Phillips post, Celtic star Alistair Johnston posted a picture of a man squeezed into a Nat Phillips Liverpool strip with the tagline ‘gone but never forgotten’

Phillips obviously made friends during his time at Celtic.

Alistair Johnston is a very popular player in the dressing room. His personality and chatty demeanour endears himself to others.

It was the Canadian’s hand ball flash point that has had our rivals in meltdown for a week at this point. The decision not to give a penalty for the flash point was the correct outcome, despite that, all hell has broken loose between the Ibrox club and the SFA.

This is all happening while Alistair and his Celtic teammates are enjoying some time off and are off spending time with their families.
