ALISTAIR JOHNSTON was watching on Saturday afternoon as Celtic beat Aberdeen 1-0 at Pittodrie.
Aberdeen were embarrassing in their approach to the game. Every man behind the ball with no intention of getting into a game of football.
It took the bhoys until their 33rd shot of the game in the final ten minutes to grab a deserved win and when the goal came, Alistair took to social media to praise his captain.
Johnston has signed for Celtic but isn’t eligible to play for the club until the new year. The Canadian will have to watch on for the next three games but could make the squad for the Ibrox tie.
Celtic have started like they finished in the league, by winning games of football, even when the opposition are intent on playing the role of human shields.
Celtic have reinstated their nine point lead at the top of the table and face Livingston on Wednesday night hoping to at least keep that intact.
