Celtic left-back Alexandro Bernabei made a trip home to Argentina this off-season.
It has been somewhat of a tough bedding-in period for the youngster in Glasgow and a return to his homeland over the summer would’ve been welcomed.
On Instagram, Bernabei shared a few snaps of his trip in which he spent time with his family:

In Argentina, it is currently winter hence the snow and cold-looking weather in Bernabei’s photos. It is certain Celtic fans will be hoping the 22-year-old does not bring that type of climate home with him. When he does come back to Scotland, however, the left-back will be aiming to impress new manager Brendan Rodgers.

Very much an Ange Postecoglou signing, it will be intriguing to see how Bernabei does under Rodgers. With the Australian at the helm, he wasn’t very suited to an inverted style of play at left-back.
Rodgers, though, likes his fullbacks to get high up and overlap and this is certainly something that would appease Bernabei thus there may be high hopes for him in 2023/24.
