A Kyogo Furuhashi volley which arrowed into the bottom left corner was enough for Celtic to come away from Ibrox on Sunday afternoon with all three points. As a result of the win, the Hoops are sitting pretty at the top of the Scottish Premiership, with ten points from a possible 12 thus far.
Pre-match when the champions’ lineup was named by Brendan Rodgers, few supporters were confident. Nevertheless, the players that were on the park put in a colossal performance to ensure victory was secured.

Even those who came off the bench were pivotal in their displays, too. The likes of Odin Thiago Holm, Anthony Ralston, Yang, Oh, and Alexandro Bernabei more than played their part in the win, and it was the latter’s post-match Instagram message that particularly caught the eye.
On Sunday evening, Bernabei shared Celtic’s full-time post to his story, and captioned it with ‘Glasgow is in order’:

Few supporters would disagree with what Bernabei said. The fiery left-back clearly recognises the stature of Sunday’s clash and what it means to the supporters.
Over the coming weeks, he will continually look to force his way into Brendan Rodgers’ plans. The 22-year-old has struggled for minutes so far in 2023/24 but caught the eye in the 15 minutes he was on the pitch Sunday.
