On-loan Celtic left-back Alexandro Bernabei’s rise to prominence in Brazil has been well documented.
The Argentine joined top-flight outfit Internacional at the beginning of the year, for whom he vastly impressed.
Bernabei made 25 appearances for the Porto Alegre side, scoring three goals and registering five assists.

The 24-year-old established himself as one of the best left-backs while on loan in Brazil and threw his hand in the ring for an Argentina call-up.
Now that the Brazilian season is over, Bernabei is due back at Celtic in the new year.
It doesn’t look like he has a long-term future in Glasgow, though, and Internacional are keen to secure his permanent services.
The latest update on his situation has come from Brazilian outlet Scinter.com.br, who say that although Inter are in negotiations to try and make Bernabei’s loan permanent, Celtic’s €5m asking price (a few million less than what has previously been reported), is ‘considered unfeasible’.
While Inter might not have the financial capability to complete a deal, Bernabei assuredly won’t be short of suitors, given his recent standout performances in Brazil.
A second Celtic chance can’t be dismissed, either, especially given the uncertainty surrounding the Hoops’ long-term left-back predicament.
Stranger things have happened at Parkhead than Bernabei returning and challenging for a first-team place.
