Ajeti Deal to be Announced: Striker Takes ‘Significant’ Wage Cut to Push Celtic Deal Through

SKY SPORTS journalist Anthony Joseph has this afternoon confirmed the deal to bring Albian Ajeti to Celtic will be a PERMANENT deal and the player will sign a four year deal today.

The reporter also confirms the player is taking a significant wage cut to join the club if anyone was questioning how much Albian actually wants to come to Celtic.

This is a major signing for Celtic and takes the clubs spending to £10m for two players.

The striker is another piece of the puzzle for Neil Lennon who is also looking for a centre back so he can get the most out a 3-5-2 formation this term.

The versatility of the Celtic squad last season was a big reason why they made it nine in a row.

Ajeti is coming in and will almost certainly get his chance early on. With so many games coming up, the striker will need to hit the ground running.
