Afolabi Scores First Celtic Goal

JONATHON AFOLABI has scored his first Celtic goal as the Irishman scored a cheeky back heel against Morton in the reserve cup.

The former Southampton man signed on with Celtic this summer and the feeling among supporters is the player could make an impact on the first team at some point this season. The attacker is going the right way about it if he is looking to impress Neil Lennon.

The reserves have some outstanding talent in their ranks at the moment with Lee O’Connor also getting game time after his move from Manchester Utd. Armstrong Oko-Fles also on the scoresheet putting away a penalty.

Karamoko Dembele also back in the squad after an injury lay off. The depth Celtic have and the young players they can call upon is very exciting. Jonathan could be a star in the near future for club and country.
