Matt O’Riley finally looks to be on his way out of Celtic.
The attacking midfielder has had vast transfer interest in him this summer, and it is Brighton and Hove Albion who are now closing in on his services.

It was previously reported that the Seagulls had offered a record-breaking £26m for the Denmark internationalist, who was sensational last season.
Now, renowned transfer guru Fabrizio Romano is claiming that things are almost finalised.
He posted on X late last night, outlining that Brighton are advancing in talks with Celtic for the 23-year-old and that the two clubs will come to an agreement soon:
🔵🤝🏻 Napoli are close to completing the deal for Billy Gilmour as it’s all set on both club and player side.
Meanwhile, Brighton are advancing in talks for Matt O’Riley as they can finalise the agreement with Celtic soon.

We are certainly in the end-game of O’Riley’s Hoops career. Despite the vast array of speculation clouding over his head, though, he has handled himself professionally.
Celtic fans will be disappointed to see him go, but the opportunity to play in one of the world’s top leagues with a modern, progressive side who have a respectable track record of developing elite talent is one any footballer wouldn’t pass up.
