CELTIC have today announced broadcaster Matt Smith will be part of the on screen setup for the Glasgow Derby Celtic Pass.
So far this season we’ve had Gerry McCulloch, Peter Martin and Connie Mclaughlin taking on the role as host. Matt Smith seems like a random choice to come in and host the Celtic pass coverage.
Is this seen as added value by the club?
We are delighted to announce that Matt Smith will be joining us to host this weekend’s coverage of the Glasgow Derby on the @CelticFCPass.
We look forward to welcoming Matt to Celtic Park and once again we are urging all Celtic supporters to #StaySafe and #StayHome for the game.

Given the game will be on Sky Sports on Sunday, more people will be tuning into that feed because it won’t be 30 seconds to 60 seconds behind the action.
The numbers signing into the pass should be lower than usual and while the pundits on Sky Sports aren’t worth listening too, just to get a live stream is worth sticking it on the TV.
Celtic haven’t broadcasted again since the debacle against Aberdeen when the stream went dark just before kick off. The fans missed the only goal of the game and missed a large chunk of the first half.
The pass has been ok but it has been described as a £90per annum online stream, not a £600 plus solution to not being in the stadium.
We were promised added value but I’d argue we’ve got the bare minimum.
