This £9.5 million is inclusive of performance-related add-ons, but it’s still a big sum.

With the deal agreed upon, Idah is poised to sign a long-term contract, with the striker to have his medical in the coming days.
It’s been a long summer negotiating this, and considering Celtic’s initial bid started at £4 million, they’ve really had to up their offer. The reports are suggesting that it could be a new transfer record for Celtic.
Celtic desperately needed Idah in. With Oh leaving and Idah heading back to his parent club, Kyogo started as Celtic’s sole striker this season. On Sunday, we saw his shoulder issue resurface, so having a quality back up is great for Celtic.
