CELTIC fans watched the team purring at times on Sunday as the bhoys dismantled Dundee.
The Hoops gave the away side nothing and chased every ball down in the early going. Furuhashi’s sensational home league debut saw the Japanese star score a hat-trick and contribute to an outstanding performance from the Celtic side.

The only gripe many fans had about this game was the lack of any sort of common sense or protection from the referee who allowed some of our players to be hurt without major consequence.
Euan Anderson frustrated the home support with some of his decisions and the tackle on Anthony Ralston was a straight red all day long. Marshall received a yellow card for the incident – replays showed it was an incredibly poor decision.
Football is a contact sport and yes at times things can get a bit tasty or the odd mistimed tackle takes place but for neither of those Dundee players to have seen a red card for both the assaults on Ralston and Christie is just baffling dangerous play for sure.

Ref again utterly shocking – that challenge on Ralston is a red card all day long. Foul against McGregor for nothing …. & the tackle on Christie ends up over the ball….. prob not deliberate, careless …. so likely a booking, but a foul at least.

This referee is absolutely abysmal.

Even though the referee was abysmal, Celtic’s performance on the day was a joy to behold and fans who were allowed to attend will go home soaked but delighted.
Celtic 6-0 Dundee
