MORITZ BAUER made his full Celtic debut on Sunday in the bhoys win over Kilmarnock as the on-loan stoke defender tries to impress his new club.
The right-back saw half an hour of action at Ibrox at the start of September but has had to be patient since then to wait for his chance in the side.
He stepped up to the mark yesterday and put in a great performance in front of the Celtic fans to help make it 6 wins out of 6 in the SPFL so far this season.
However, it’s what Mortiz did after the match that had many Celtic fans talking.
The defender came out with Odsonne Edouard to do a post-match interview with CelticTV where the Austrian turned into a translator for the Frenchman prompting many people to comment.
Moritz Bauer translating for Eddy is so adorable man, wit a pair 😍💚

Talk about languages being important! This is amazing and shows the importance of languages and team work. Thank you Moritz Bauer & @Oedouard22 for unintentionally promoting language learning to our young people! #languagelearning #lovelanguages #french #english pic.twitter.com/iL2mXFunk0

Celtic have an option to buy the defender at the end of the loan period and if he can keep up his performances then he will certainly give Elhamed a run for his money. It’s early days of course.
While we were digging about Moritz and his ability to speak French it turns out the player knows five different languages and also has a pilot licence! What a guy.
