Earlier today we picked up on an A-league podcast that claimed Celtic had told Ange Postecoglou he could NOT bring in his own staff to the club when taking over as the manager.
The tweet below – an excerpt from the ‘Real football show’ podcast claimed Ange had to develop the coaching staff at the club and would be unable to make any hires.
Tonny Rallis a former football journalist turned agent made the claim on the podcast.

Ange has come in alone so far with both John Kennedy and Gavin Strachan still part of the set-up. Fans have been sceptical about the backroom staff which stems from Neil Lennon’s time in charge when he inherited coaches and wasn’t permitted to bring his own men to Celtic.
A big part of the fanbase wants to be sure Ange has total control over the things he needs to be a success at the club.
A Celtic spokesperson told CeltsAreHere.com there is no truth in Ange being forced to keep anybody on: ‘It’s absolute nonsense, you just have to look back at Dom and Anges quotes from a couple of weeks ago, Ange has been given a blank canvas by Dom’

Right now, the manager is forging ahead with pre-season and probably more concerned about the playing staff than his backroom team at the moment.
Any of the backroom team working under the new gaffer are taking direction from him and carrying out his wishes on the training ground.
