‘Absolute Madness’ – Fox News Journalist Rubbishes Ange Story

An Aussie journalist has branded the notion Ange Postecoglou would give up what he’s building at Celtic to move to Brighton as ‘Absolute Madness’ this week.

The papers in Scotland and some down south have been happy to attach Ange’s name to the vacant role without any real source or conviction.

The Celtic manager is no longer a secret, more and more people on this island no his name and as Celtic play out more Champions League game, that will only grow.

There are two defaults for the Scottish press when it comes to a Celtic manager; either he’s hopeless and open to ridicule, or he’s great and just too good to stay at Celtic. It’s a tiring stance and as soon as a Celtic manager does something of note, they’re pushing rumours out again and again.

Brighton won’t be the last club Ange is linked to this season. We understand the hard work he’s doing at Celtic will genuinely attract the attention of some clubs. We all know Ange and Celtic will go their separate ways at some point down the line. However, to head out the door for Brighton now seems a ridiculous notion – journalist Alex Conrad explained it perfectly in his Australian Fox article.

Amid all the flimsy speculation, none of these media outlets have really wanted to ask the question ‘Would Ange even wanted to go to Brighton?’.

Our sources have told us emphatically, NO!
