Celtic were last week linked with a January move for Aberdeen striker Bojan Miovski. It is widely known Brendan Rodgers is eager to strengthen his squad in January, with centre-forward a key position being looked at.
A player of Miovski’s class staying with Aberdeen for long doesn’t seem likely, although the club want to keep him beyond the winter. The Dons’ CEO Alan Burrows said (The Scottish Sun): “We are not actively seeking to sell Bojan as we go into the January transfer window. Our anticipation is Bojan will be here for beyond that period.”

Despite these claims, Burrows admitted that his club would find it hard to keep their star man if the right offer came in. He said: “Aberdeen have a player trading model that requires you, at times when it suits you, to sell. However that has to be at the value you believe is right for the club. I can’t give any assurances because I don’t know what any other club is going to do.”
From this, it certainly seems that if the Celts stumped up the right amount of cash, a move is possible. Miovski has a track record of scoring in Scotland and Europe, but Celtic supporters seem split over a move for the 24-year-old.
