BEN WYLIE has returned to B team action ahead of Celtic’s Glasgow Derby next Tuesday. Colts side manager Tommy McIntyre is delighted to have Ben available for selection after serving a long time on the sidelines with an injury.
The midfielder is a creative spark in the side, often involved with the goals. Failing to score in the last encounter with The Ranger B side, Tommy will be hoping the player, who has recently signed a long-term deal with the club, will impact the game.
Speaking to CeltsAreHere, Tommy McIntyre talked about the reintroduction of Ben and pointed out that numerous other players will be critical;
“He’s obviously a top player; he’s an international player. He’s been out for a period of time, and he’s come back in, and he’s trained really well on the pitch.
“He’ll be hungry. We’ve certainly missed that level of player. It’s the same with Ewan Otoo and Ryan Mullen, and other players that will come back in. For them, it’s an opportunity to showcase their talent.
“It’s a fantastic occasion for us to showcase the club’s B team in front of, hopefully, a big crowd.”
It’s set to be a great night on Tuesday the 12th of April. Paradise will be rocking with the North Curve open for the game, as well as the North Stand.
Many fans have snapped up their tickets to attend the derby, with some seats still left. Hopefully, the B side can replicate the result of the first team on Sunday.
