The Celtic support is in a state of shock after the breaking news on Friday that Dom McKay has stepped down as Celtic CEO – including me!
Three months into the role, McKay leaves with the official line being ‘personal reasons’. It’s hard to make sense of things when the board have been vague but it goes without saying, if it truly is personal reasons then we wish Dom and his family all the best.
This is a developing story and we’re likely to find out more as the days go on.
The one thing for Celtic fans this evening will be the worry any of the positives that Mckay was bringing to the table – like modernisation, fan engagement and structural change is now out the window.
