Celtic have been handed a much welcome SPFL boost with their closest rivals dropping points just seven days after Celtic did the same at Killie.

Given Celtic games have been shelved for a week also and we’re playing catch up, it’s certainly a massive boost and incentive going into next Sunday’s game against Dundee Utd.

The bhoys can’t take anything for granted but they must use the result at the Tony Macaroni Stadium today to start turning the screw.

The bhoys have a European qualifier on Tuesday night against KR Reykjavik before their trip to Dundee. Neil Lennon will have his players primed and ready to go for both games.

We could see the debut of Albian Ajeti on either Tuesday or Sunday. Right now, as it stands, both Glasgow clubs have dropped two points in the league.
