A Game of Fine Lines – The Heart Breaking Moment For Young Hoops

CELTIC’S UNDER 18s were beaten 3-2 on the night by their Ibrox counterparts in what was a thrilling Glasgow Cup Final.

Both teams had some top talents on show and it wasn’t short of excitement. Two early goals from the Ibrox team in the first half put them 2-0 ahead only for Celtic to do the same at the start of the second half to draw level at 2-2.

It would be set pieces which would be Celtic’s undoing on the night as the Celtic defenders couldn’t get to grips with some of The Rangers forwards.

The Ibrox club would regain the lead with a quarter of an hour to go and Celtic’s young lads tried desperately to get the equaliser. The bhoys saving a penalty to keep the game at 3-2 and still had a chance to the very end.

The clip below shows the fine margins between winning and losing with Celtic having the ball in the back of the net with minutes to go but it was flagged for a goal kick as the ball JUST went over the line.

The young lads will learn from this defeat.
