A Celtic First Awaits Ange Postecoglou

ANGE POSTECOGLOU has stated his excitement as he prepares to lead his Celtic team at Hampden on Saturday.

The Premier Sports Cup semi-final will kick off at 5.15 CPT with Ange in the national team dugout for the first time.

Speaking to CeltsAreHere and others the Fan Media press conference, Ange informed those in attendance that he was looking forward to the occasion.

“I am super excited and looking forward to it and this football club has been a regular participant and visitor to Hampden in recent years and everyone tells me it is a fantastic experience.

“I am looking forward to it tremendously as are the players because for a majority of them it will be the first time experiencing it too. It is a massive game in the context of the season for us at this stage.

“We have done well to get to this stage as my biggest focus in the early part of the year was to not let inconsistency cost us down the line in Europe, in the cup and the league.”

If Celtic are to overcome St Johnstone on Saturday, the league cup has the potential to be Postecoglou’s first piece of silverware in Scotland. Having beaten the Perthshire club already this season, Ange will be hoping for the same outcome and progression to the final on Sunday the 19th of December.

Celtic fans will be in fine voice, selling out their allocation of about 40,000.
