Watch: Neil Lennon Claims Failed 10IAR Campaign Wasn’t Down To Football

Celtic are in a much better place now under Ange Postecoglou than they were just over two years ago with Neil Lennon.

The Bhoys were well behind in the title race in a season that mattered so much to so many.

Obviously, Celtic went on to lose the league by a colossal 25 points with there being wide-scale problems at the football club.

Manager at the time Neil Lennon, though, has come out and stated how none of what went wrong in the failed 10-in-a-row campaign was down to football.

The Northern Irishman has instead claimed that psychological and social factors are what caused his players to drastically underperform:

Although these claims may be somewhat true, Lennon needs to take some responsibility for what happened.

After all, he was the manager of the football club and should’ve helped prevent such social and psychological factors from taking such a toll.

He didn’t and this, combined with how poor the football he implemented was, eventually caused the Bhoys to lose the league.

Now, Celtic are in a far better position and are streets ahead of where they were a few years ago.

Their second successive title under Ange Postecoglou is well on the way and the demonic memories of 2020/21 are assuredly getting banished in the process.
