CELTIC are entering the summer with a big decision to make between the sticks.
Joe Hart will have a year left on his Parkhead deal, but Ange Postecoglou must decide if he sticks with the Englishman as his number 1, or if he looks elsewhere.
Joe Hart was one of the first players to come into Celtic under Ange Postecoglou, adding some quality and experience in a position which was lacking. You get the feeling that Joe Hart isn’t the Angeball-suited keeper that he wants at Celtic.
Sky Sports journalist Anthony Joesph was on the CeltsAreHere podcast on Thursday, discussing Celtic’s options for the summer, admitting that he believes that Ange Postecoglou will stand by his man.
“I think Joe Hart will still be the number one next season. I think perhaps they’re not looking to bring someone in in the summer, this is my opinion I’ve not got any information.
“What they’ll be doing is identifying targets that’ll battle it out to be the number one.
“Whether that means bringing someone in and putting them out on loan, or just waiting to see who are the up and coming keepers who could battle it out in a couple of years.”
Joe Hart isn’t getting any younger, but he has made some great saves in pivotal moments this season, definitely winning Celtic a few points.
It’s a big decision for Ange to make in the summer, with many fans eager to see the outcome.
