The Rangers are demanding an apology for a goal being chopped off during the weekend’s Glasgow Derby. [Football Scotland]
Yes, you’ve read that correctly. The team who have benefitted from some astonishing decisions over the course of the season want an apology.
Flashback to the Glasgow derby at Ibrox, Connor Goldson palming the ball away with his fists inside his own box and not the referee or VAR made the right call. They weren’t concerned with any decision that day.

The Ibrox club are the perennial huffy toddler of Scottish football. If they don’t get their own way, the tantrum will come.
On a day where we’ve had threats sent to one of the refs, to double down on their petulance is negligent at best. They condemned the threats but went on to scald the SFA and decision again.
Celtic won 3-2 on the day. Alfredo Morelos had a goal chopped off in the first half. A decision that wasn’t a clear and obvious errors by the official so VAR didn’t intervene. The Ibrox club only have themselves to blame for the defeat.

On Monday night, we still have a seething Ibrox club in meltdown. A sceptical person might think the Ibrox hierarchy are trying to deflect given the protests that have gone on against them from their own support in recent days.
Celtic won and they can’t handle it. Celtic are set to win the league, and they can’t handle it.
If Celtic demanded an apologies for this season, we’d be here a while.
