CELTIC HERO Chris Sutton and his former Blackburn teammate Robbie Savage have been told that their popular BT Sport Score football show on Saturday afternoons will be replaced with rugby coverage when the channel rebrands as TNT.

More than 200 other jobs are at risk, with many facing redundancy. However, many of the show’s production staff have not yet been given formal notice, causing an uproar.
A Warner Bros. Discovery Sports spokesperson told The Sun:
“Editorial reviews are undertaken as a matter of course in preparation for every new season.
“For next season, this includes considering the programming that will continue, as the channel becomes TNT Sports, and as part of the line-up supporting the same live sport fans enjoy on BT Sport today.
“As part of this process, we have confirmed to staff that BT Sport Score will not be continuing next season.”
The show will be missed, along with the presenters. Despite not quite reaching the levels of Gillette Soccer Saturday, its popularity was growing, with Jules Breech, Robbie Savage, and Chris Sutton putting on a great show.
Sutton won’t be short of work, though. He already appears on Viaplay Sport and the BBC, while scribbling his thoughts for a few outlets.
Maybe, the former Celtic man can get a gig with Sky, and get on Celtic fan’s screens more regularly, knocking Boyd off his seat.
