Celtic fans would not have expected Alexandro Bernabei to net his first goal in hoops when Ange Postecoglou introduced him on the 65th minute against Ross County at the weekend.
Despite this, the Argentine surpassed expectations and thundered the ball into the top left corner late on in Dingwall to secure three points for Celtic. It was a moment to savour for young Bernabei who so far, has has next to no moments of jubilance following a rocky start in Scotland.
At 22, Bernabei is still a raw talent who is learning day by day and in spite of his tumultous beginnings at Celtic, in the majority of his cameos so far, we have seen glimpses of the exciting potential he possesses.
Ange Postecoglou told The Scotsman Bernabei deserved his exultant moment on Sunday:

“It was good from Berno, we know he has it in his locker because we see it in training.
“Hopefully it gives him confidence and belief.
“He’s still learning and getting up to speed with the way we play which isn’t easy.
“He works hard every day and has got his reward.”
After signing a five year deal last summer, Alexandro Bernabei is a player we can expect to see at Celtic throughout the near and distant future.
The Argentine has plenty of room for improvement and may be a player we see more towards the end of this season if the league is wrapped up early and throughout next as he continues his development in Glasgow.
