ALEXANDRO BERNABEI has thanked the club after they sent a bouquet of flowers to him and his partner following the birth of his daughter, Olivia.
The Argentinian full-back has been in and out of the squad in recent weeks, with the birth of his child likely to explain that.
Taking to Instagram, the summer signing posted his thanks on his story.
Bernabei announced the pregnancy not long after he joined Celtic for just under £4 million.
He’s struggled to nail down a permanent place in the squad, and despite impressing in his 13 appearances, one of which was in the Champions League, Greg Taylor’s starring performances have kept him out of the starting eleven.
The Scottish left-back is expected to keep his place for Sunday when Celtic meets The Rangers in the final of the Viaplay Cup. He did start the semi-final of the competition, with Greg Taylor out injured after the knock he picked up at Ibrox during the New year derby.
