KYOGO has been a phenomenal signing by Ange Postecoglou, bringing the Japanese superstar to Celtic last summer, making him the first of six players to make the same voyage to Glasgow.
It didn’t take long for him to attract the interest of English clubs, with Southampton said to be tracking the striker in the past. [calciomercato]

With 22 goals so far this season, beating last season’s tally and topping the scoring charts, it won’t be surprising if more Premier League clubs are interested in the player, but Frank McAvennie believes that Kyogo has some “unfinished business” to complete at Celtic and won’t be pondering a move down south for similar reasons to his boss.
As quoted by Football Scotland, The former Celtic man said:
“I think everyone in that Celtic team is capable of moving to the Premier League. But it’s the same as Postecoglou, I can’t see it happening yet.
“You can never say never in football.
“Kyogo won’t be here forever, but I think he’s still got unfinished business.
“It’s a good sign when the manager and his players are being targeted. You want that because it means they’re doing well.
“This Celtic team are all having fun and they’re so together at the moment.
“I’m sure his pace would frighten people in the Premier League. But I’m not sure he has the strength to play in England.”
A number of Celtic stars are being tracked by EPL clubs, but not many will have a move in their minds just yet. When Celtic can offer the opportunity to play Champions League football, with the attacking brand under the instruction of Ange Postecoglou, and the chance to win trophies, it’s tempting for players to stay put for the extra year or two.
