Kyogo’s Selfless Celtic Statement

KYOGO has been on fire this season, scoring 22 goals in all competitions, with 19 of them coming in the league. He’s already surpassed last season’s record of 20 goals in all competitions, with 12 in the league.

The team have been in terrific form in front of goal this season, too, with goals coming from all over the pitch. 92 goals have been scored so far, 78 of which have come in the SPFL.

The Japanese striker has been talking to Celtic TV, in which he expressed how delighted he is when the team score, even if he isn’t involved in it. The team are as one and want to put a smile on the supporter’s faces.

“When I or my teammates score a goal, any goal makes me happy from the bottom of my heart.

“It is important to show how happy we are. To see the supporters happy and smiling and to celebrate winning with them is very important.”

Celtic are certainly pleasing the supporters this season, with a cup final to play, still in the Scottish Cup and leading the league by 9 points, it’s hard to find something that isn’t satisfying the Celtic support.
