NEW CELTIC signing Oh Hyeongyu met Fan Media outlets on Thursday afternoon after he completed his move to the Scottish Champions earlier in the week.

The Korean forward’s season finished on the 27th of October, a good while ago. He finished the league season with a goal, making it his 13th of the season. He did make his debut for his national side in November, but it was just an 18-minute run-out in an international friendly.
The 21-year-old will be lacking in match fitness, but he remained on the training pitch, ensuring he’d be in the best condition possible when he arrived at Celtic.
Oh told CeltsAreHere:
“I just didn’t have matches, but I was always on the training pitch. Because I knew Celtic were in their season, in the middle of it, I tried to keep myself fit so that I could be fully ready when the transfer was made.”
The player first heard of Celtic’s interest in September and knew straightaway it was where he wanted to be playing his football.
He’s certainly impressed in the press, making it clear he was keen on the move, but now he has to impress on the pitch and hit the back of the net.
