Dundee United boss Liam Fox has admitted that he sought advice from Celtic boss Ange Postecoglou after taking on the role as boss at Tannadice.
On the Hoops last visit, they tore Dundee United apart in a record breaking 9-0 victory which consequently meant that Jack Ross lost his job.
Having already been at the club as Ross’ assistant manager, he was promoted to the post with his only previous managerial experience having been in charge of Cowdenbeath for a year.
Since making the step up, he has been looking to get as much information from other coaches and really enjoyed the time he got to spend with Postecoglou before and after the last time the sides met which saw Celtic leaving it late to win the game 4-2.
This will only be the second time that the manager’s have faced off against each other and Fox will be hoping to put the advice from Postecoglou into action.
“Ange has been really good with me. I had a great chat with him before and after the game at Parkhead, which was really good of him,” said Fox as quoted by the Scottish Sun.
“Whenever you get somebody like that willing to give you five minutes then you need to make the most of it.

“Ange just told me to be clear in your mind what you want and how you want your team to play.
“He is a top manager and he has a top squad. I really appreciated him taking the time out to give me some words of advice.”
The game isn’t likely to be as high a scoreline but Celtic will want to continue their excellent form in the league as they currently have a nine point advantage.
Having had a week to prepare for the match, the players are likely to want to put on a performance for the travelling support.
Celtic fans could also be treated to the debut of new signing Oh Hyeong-gyu who joined the Hoops for £2.5 million.
He has declared himself available to play if the manager selects him.
