JAMES FORREST has become a squad player under Ange Postecoglou. The winger still able to deliver meaningful contributions to the squad at a domestic level in the back nine of his Celtic career.
However, the midfielder will want to erase the memory of his substitute appearance against Kilmarnock on Saturday afternoon.
The winger came on with the game sitting at 2-0. The score line already flattered Kilmarnock who had the post and some top saves from their goalkeeper for keeping the score down.
The third goal wouldn’t come for Celtic, but it really should’ve. James was the biggest culprit on the day for missing an absolute sitter – and even had two cracks at it to find the back of the net.
If you didn’t go to the game yesterday or missed this in the highlights, it’s an absolute sitter from James.

We won’t hold it against the wee man! Goals from Jota and Kyogo were enough to see off Kilmarnock despite that missed chance and many other chances that went begging.
Forrest‘s career with Celtic may be winding down, but his commitment and passion remain as strong as ever. The 30–year–old continues to show his loyalty to the club, and Hoops fans will be hoping to see him net a few more times for the Hoops.
