Celtic have been deep in the transfer rumours, with a few departures expected. Reports on Friday morning suggested that Celtic have received their first bid for Juranovic, while Giakoumakis is still stirring up interest, but his price tag is putting clubs off.

The club have also been linked to a few players, with the most prominent link Cho Gue-sung, with suggestions that Celtic have launched a bid for the attacker, but his club would like to hold on to him until the summer.

Ange was straight to the point with the transfer question posed to him, wasting no time with his answer.

When asked if there was any update, he simply replied, “no”. Egged on for a further answer, he simply said, “nothing”. [Celtic TV]

There doesn’t seem to be anything just around the corner, but the window has just opened. There is plenty of time for deals to be reached and players to move about.

Ange’s very short answer speaks to his patience when it comes to repetitive questions. He has said several times since the World Cup – if there’s any news, he’ll give us an update. After being asked throughout last week – he’s decided not to entertain the transfer question.
