Fans are heading to Celtic Park for the first time after the New Year, with Kilmarnock travelling to face the Hoops.

Going into the match, there’s uncertainty surrounding the availability of some of the Celtic players, with an illness circulating the camp. It affected the Bhoys ahead of their Glasgow Derby match, with quite a few players under the weather.
Ange Postecoglou will likely go full strength or as near that as possible.
That would see Joe Hart keep his place between the sticks, even after his Glasgow Derby wobble that saw The Rangers get into the match. There are a lot of question marks surrounding the keeper, but he’s the best that Celtic currently has.
Johnston will likely start at right back after an impressive debut at Ibrox. On the other side, I expect to see Bernabei get a rare start, with Taylor likely to miss the match against his old club injured. Juranovic could start on the left, but after Monday’s performance, I’d be surprised.
CCV and Starfelt will remain in the middle, with the pair solid while playing alongside each other this season.
Callum McGregor will keep his spot in. midfield, but I expect Mooy to get a start against the Ayrshire side. That would see O’Riley drop to the bench after he’s not met the rights he reached last season. Hatate will also start in the middle of the park.
The forward area is quite a difficult one to predict, with so many options in the forward areas. I think Maeda will keep his space on the left after his impressive performances. Kyogo, who’s just won player of the month, will also start through the middle. On the right, it’s a toss-up between Jota and Abada, but after not starting Celtic’s last four matches, I think the Portugues player will get the nod from Ange.
