Ange Postecoglou has named his Celtic starting XI for Ibrox, and there are two surprises!

Alistair Johnston comes in and starts his first game for Celtic! and James Forrest gets the nod out on the wing, leaving both Abada and Jota on the bench.

Many expected Juranovic to come back into the fold, but the Croatian has only made the bench for the bhoys.

James has plenty of Glasgow Derby experience, but again, there wasn’t much talk of him getting the nod before now.

Ange is showing tremendous faith in Alistair Johnston to bring him in for his debut at Ibrox in a Glasgow Derby.

This feels like a squad selection that has more to do with how we finish the game than how we start. Ange will believe that team has enough to get on the front foot, and then the final 60 minutes, we will likely see FIVE substitutes from the Celtic manager to inject even more energy into that team. It’s a gamble.
