Celtic Take Cheeky Dig at Ibrox Cheerleader

Celtic have taken a cheeky dig at one of the worst takes of last season in their latest social media post.

The bhoy’s account was praising Reo Hatate and his versatility after the Celtic star slotted seamlessly into right back when the team needed him.

Celtic referred to Reo as a ‘utility pler’ and quite deliberately too! Back last season when Celtic had just signed Reo – Ibrox cheerleader and now Reading boss Alex Rae claimed Reo’s description coming in as a ‘utility player’ meant he wasn’t really any good in one position.

As we’ve witnessed since then Reo can be absolute dynamite on the field and certainly isn’t average sitting in Celtic’s midfield. Filling in for the injured Anthony Ralston against St Johnstone, the Japanese star scored a brace and won man of the match.

Celtic fans and the manager have been singing Reo’s praises since the full time whistle. The social media team just having a bit of fun.
