Celtic will be breaking from tradition today and will be wearing their AWAY kit against St Johnstone home.
The club announced they will be playing in their black and green pinstripe kit for the final game before Christmas as part of Shelter Scotland’s No Home kit campaign.
The club wrote: In the space of 90 minutes, five households become homeless in Scotland. That means between the first and last whistle of any football match, five households will no longer have a safe or secure place to call home.
Many more are at risk of becoming homeless with the cost of living crisis stretching family budgets to breaking point this winter.
Shelter Scotland’s #NoHomeKit is football’s way of combating this growing emergency, with the charity encouraging teams and fans to proudly show off their away and third kits and donate to the cause.
Scottish clubs lead the #NoHomeKit activity throughout the UK, with Premier League clubs in England, EFL, WSL and non-League clubs also committed to supporting.”

The club continue to do great work in the community and back a multitude of charities. Given our charitable roots, it’s imperative we do all we can.
Homelessness in Scotland in the 21st century should shame us all.
The bhoys are going into the game this afternoon knowing a win will keep their nine point lead intact. A rare outing for the away kit at Celtic Park hopefully yields a victory for the bhoys.
