Since returning from the World Cup break he has been a standout in the two matches the league leaders have played so far, as he provided a vital spark against Aberdeen and was awarded man of the match during the 2-1 win over Livingston at Celtic Park in which he had the ball in the back of the net, only for it to be chopped off for offside.

Abada is currently contracted to the Scottish champions until 2026 but the report reveals that the club are ready so sit down with the young winger to try and agree a fresh package.

His other Celtic teammates Josip Juranovic and Giorgos Giakoumakis are attracting interest elements but Abada doesn’t look as though he’ll be going anywhere soon as there is still plenty time to develop and improve his game.
