AISSA LAIDOUNI was linked to Celtic a few weeks ago, but the Hoops haven’t made an official approach for the Tunisian midfielder as of yet.

His club has admitted that they’ll be open to selling their star man in January, bracing themselves for a bidding war.
Wolfsburg and a few English teams are keeping tabs on the player who was in Qatar and started all three of his country’s matches. Tunisia was knocked out after failing to score a goal in their defeats to Australia and France and their draw to Denmark.
Gabor Kubatov opened up on the player’s availability, admitting he could leave the club if the price was right.
Speaking to Nemzeti Sport, president of Ferencváros said:
“Many people are interested. We haven’t received a specific offer yet. But I’m sure it will come.
“He played at a very high level at the World Cup. And, if we receive an offer that is worth considering, we are open to negotiations.
“We have to find the right balance too. If we can sell someone for good money, we can get more benefits from that.
“On the one hand, we can use the income to bring in new football players.”
The midfield is a highly contested area of the pitch for Celtic, with the three starters almost impossible to drop.
The manager has confirmed that the club are working on a few signings in the background, after the signings of Kobayashi and Johnston were completed.
