Celtic Loan Bhoy Wins League Title Abroad

Celtic loan bhoy Conor Hazard is celebrating title success with his loan club HJK Helsinki on Sunday evening.

The team wrapped up the title with a game to spare with Hazard playing 19 league games, racking up 8 clean sheets.

The goalkeeper joined Helsinki back in January and isn’t due back at Celtic until the end of December.

The Northern Irish international took a chance by going further afield in his search for first team football and it’s most certainly paid off.

Conor has become a big player for Helsinki and has found a home with the Finnish side.

While he’s been successful on his travels, Conor isn’t expected to compete for a place in Ange Postecoglou’s side upon his return. The goalies current Celtic contract runs out at the end of this season.

Conor has grown up a Celtic fan, and no matter what happens in his career, he’ll be the goalkeeper that helped deliver the final trophy of an incredible quadruple treble run. Conor’s heroics inside an empty Hampden Park will go down in history. The player now adds another medal to his cabinet.
