Ryan Christie Puts Rodgers Under More Pressure

RYAN CHRISTIE scored the winning goal against Brendan Rodgers’ Leicester City, with the game ending 2-1.

Rodgers’ side took the lead early on, with Patson Daka putting the foxing infront. However, second half goes from Philip Billing and Ryan Christie saw the former Celtic boss pick up another loss, which leaves his side second bottom of the Premier League table, only goal difference is keeping them from the rock bottom.

It leaves Brendan Rodgers under intense pressure, with the hierarchy already looking at potential candidates. This season, he’s had 1 win, 1 draw and 7 losses, a run of form which simply isn’t acceptable for any Premier League club.

After a win last week, people thought that the side could be turning a corner; however, it didn’t last long.

It looks as if Rodgers’ time could be coming to an end, especially after the defeat to Bournemouth.

Not long until the current Celtic Boss, Ange Postecoglou, is linked to the job.
